Aviation Programme di Admal Aviation College

Ok, dah janji kena tepati...
Dekat Malaysia nie, memang very limited college yang offer Aviation programs. Kenapa? I belief its due to the very high maintenance cost and to start it as well, you need to have a very high support from the plane industry + high capital... And definately to the ‘future students’, the fees will be high as well. Kena compare ‘apple to apple’ ya, jangan la di compare kan fees aviation study nie dengan fees business studies...
Lets talk about ADMAL AVIATION COLLEGE. Its a new college which leads by very experience people in aviation industry and owned by a very experience aviation company.

ADMAL AVIATION COLLEGE is owned by ADMAL SDN BHD. ADMAL SDN BHD core businesses are; aircraft leasing, aircraft maintenance, aircraft management & operation, aircraft and helicoprer sales, and consultancy.
ADMAL Aviation College is a local private institution dedicated for education and training in the field related to aviation engineering
in Malaysia. The main objective of the college is to provide quality education in aviation engineering discipline in both knowledge and
technical "know-how".
The college has made collabration with UniKL, a reputable university in aviation engineering, as our strategic partner in developing aircraft maintenance program and as to support the current demand in aviation maintenance engineering sector. Through this collaboration, ADMAL Aviation College is established to provide engineering technology education at Diploma level along with UniKL-MIAT,
and to conduct other courses or customized programs to meet the demands of growing aviation industry in this region.
The college is set-up to be in compliance with both the MOHE and DCA of Malaysia requirements for its education and training approval. The college facility is strategically located at BBST Business Park, Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi in the "City of Aviation" Sepang. The college training facilities will be supported by the ADMAL group of companies to provide aircraft life experience, which is very important towards program recognition by DCA Malaysia, at our 4 operating services and maintenance hangars in Sungai Besi, Kuala Terengganu,Sandakan and in Senai, Johor.
Currently,ADMAL owns 14 aircraft ranging from Piper Cherokee to Boeing 737. ADMAL also currently supporting 28 clients' aircraft under the service and maintenance contract. The company had established more than 9 years experience and now extending that experience and resources to our future generation of aircraft maintenance engineer through our college. With this resource capacity, it makes ADMAL Aviation College unique, where the students can eventually gain their experience in maintaining live operation aircraft as part of the program structure within our own resources, compared to equivalent programs of other institutions in the country.

DCAM Part 66 Licensing Programme (ATO/2015/03)
CAT B1.1 Aeroplane Turbine
In 2011, DCA Malaysia embarked on a new and most up to date DCAM Part 66, incorporating all the latest requirement of ICAO. Airworthiness Notice 1101 (AN 1101) introduced, which cater the licensing programme for AME.
The programme provides students with a solid foundation for a career as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The courses in the programme covers all the required knowledge as specified in the AN 1101, which divided into categories of DCAM B1.1 – Aeroplane Turbine (Mechanical) and DCAM B2 – Avionics. this AME licensing syllabus (DCAM Part 66) is equivalent to EASA Part 66 (Aircraft maintenance licensing programme in Europe).
The AMEL programme is the modular subjects (Module 1 to Module 17) comprises of theoretical class lectures, workshops practical tasks, field visiting trips and module paper examinations. Subsequently, the trainees will be sent for On-Job-Training (OJT) in the aviation industries in Malaysia, to complete the programme.
The criteria to become LAME is through passing the approved 13 module exams (for B1.1) or 12 modules (for B2) which covers 2400 learning hours (theory and practical), and a 2-year On-Job-Training. The process-flow is sanctioned by the DCA, Malaysia.
Once completed this programme, trainees will be able to be issued their Basic Licenses by DCA Malaysia, and will continue in getting type approval on various types of aircrafts.
